This Policy applies to cinematik.com, the Cinematik mobile application, and any other Cinematik-branded website, mobile application, or other feature or service offered by Whip Networks, Inc. (“WNI”) that posts or links to this Privacy Policy (collectively, “Cinematik”). By accessing or using Cinematik, you agree to this Policy and our Terms of Service.

We may collect information from you both directly and automatically when you use Cinematik. Some of this information may be considered “personal information” under applicable laws. We also may “de-identify” your information by aggregating it or converting it to a code (using a function known as a “hash”). We use and maintain de-identified data without attempting to re-identify it, except as permitted or required by law.
• Account & Contact Details: Includes name, email address, username, and (if provided) demographic information such as birthday or gender.
• Interests & Preferences: Such as your favorite shows, watched episodes, movie preferences, and personal watchlists.
• User Content: This may include text, images, audio, video, comments, reviews, or other interactive content you share with the Cinematik community.
• Usage Information: This can include details of how you navigate Cinematik, like pages or features accessed, and interactions with our content.
• Device Information: IP address, device identifiers (e.g., unique device IDs), operating system, browser type, mobile network information, and approximate location based on IP address.
• Log Data: When you use Cinematik, our servers automatically record certain details to understand how people use Cinematik and to improve our services.
We may receive information about you from:
• Social Media Platforms: If you link your account or choose to share information from platforms like Facebook, Twitter, etc.
• Data Services: Which may provide aggregated or otherwise lawfully obtained data about user preferences.
• Streaming Services & Integrations: If you use Trakt.tv or JustWatch within Cinematik, we may receive info regarding your watch history or streaming availability.

Providing & Personalizing Cinematik:
To register and allow you to use app features, such as syncing watchlists, posting reviews, or creating personal watch histories.
Recommendations & Promotions:

To send service or administrative communications, such as account confirmations, updates about Cinematik, or changes to our policies.

• Opt-Out Options:
Cinematik may contain links to third-party websites or services (e.g., streaming platforms, social media). Once you leave Cinematik or interact with a third-party feature, this Policy no longer applies. We recommend reviewing the privacy policies of any third-party website or service you visit or integrate with.

Account Settings:
You may be able to update or correct information in your account profile, adjust or restrict what information is shared with other users, and manage your notifications.
Email Communications:
To stop receiving marketing or promotional emails, click the unsubscribe link at the bottom of our emails or email us at tomacotuna@gmail.com. We may still send you service-related messages.
Push Notifications:
You can turn off push notifications in your mobile device settings.

Cinematik is not intended for users younger than 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If we determine that a user is under 16, we will take appropriate steps to delete their information as required by law.
We reserve the right to amend or update this Policy at any time, subject to applicable law. Substantive changes will typically be announced on Cinematik or via email so you can review them. Your continued use of Cinematik after an updated Policy becomes effective indicates your acceptance. If required by law, we will seek your consent to any material changes.
Cinematik is a US-based service. If you are located outside the United States, we will transfer and store your information in the US or other countries. By using Cinematik, you consent to this transfer and understand that these jurisdictions may have different data protection laws than your country of residence.
We retain your information for as long as is necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Policy, to provide Cinematik to you, or as legally required (e.g., recordkeeping). After you deactivate your account, anonymized or aggregated data may persist internally for analytics or other purposes.
